River's Edge 2000 Elkton Vineyard Pinot Noir (Umpqua Valley)

The nose is forward and round, with some cheesy Burgundian scents. There is a raisiny edge to this wine, which is very ripe and drinking well right now. The finish is slight hot, and has plenty of tannin. Definitely a wine to drink young. —P.G. Paul Gregutt
