Roagna 2016 Rosso Nebbiolo (Langhe)

Made with grapes from the firm's youngest Nebbiolo vines, aged between 20 and 25 years old and sourced from estate vineyards in Pajé in Barbaresco and Pira in Castiglione Falletto, this fragrant red opens with aromas of red berry, fennel seed, leather and camphor. On the lithe, racy palate, juicy acidity and firm, fine-grained tannins accompany crushed strawberry, red cherry and star anise. Drink 2023–2030. Kerin O’Keefe
