Robert Craig 1999 Affinity Red (Napa Valley)

The panel agreed that Affinity is an excellent wine, but had very different reads on the wine's flavors and bouquet. Notes on the aromas range from fresh hay and cherry to grapes and watermelon rind; comments on palate flavors run the gamut from cherry liqueur and vanilla to fresh herb and blackberries. One to try for yourself, to be sure. 2,500 cases made; age 5–7 years.
