Another pure-blooded varietal from Robert Karl Cellars, this sappy, reductive syrah needs a lot of airing out. Tart fruit grudgingly shows spicy raspberry/cranberry flavors. Lots of acid, wrapped in vanilla and highlighted with sassafras. Tart, young and tight.
