Typically this is a five-grape Bordeaux blend, weighted heavily towards the Cabernet Sauvignon (70%). The different grape flavors are nicely entwined, with a distinctive tobacco and vanilla streak. Big, chewy, juicy and still young, this is quite astringent. It seems as if it will need more years of bottle age to pull together.
