Robert Mondavi 1997 To-Kalon Vineyard I Block Fumé Blanc (Napa Valley)

Intense coconut and lime aromas jump from the glass. Smoke, too. Full-bodied, with lots of melon and fig flavors. There's lots going on here, all wrapped up in creamy, smoky, coconutty French oak. Give it a few months to integrate and then sit back and enjoy one of the most unique U.S. renditions of Sauvignon Blanc. Joe Czerwinski
