Robert Mondavi 1999 Fumé Blanc (Napa Valley)

Here's a crisp, bone-dry wine of tart acidity with aromas and flavors of lemons and grapefruits. The hard mineral quality is softened by barrel fermentation and lees aging, which contribute round, creamy notes. The lemony theme re-emerges on the finish.
