Robert Renzoni 2012 Montepulciano (Temecula Valley)

Brown spices of clove and nutmeg decorate the nose of this solid bottling that offers a bit of dried blueberry in the deep background. The palate's presentation is very elegant and mellow, with black plum and blackberry fruit well integrated into graphite minerality and dried sagebrush, leaving a touch of tannins in the mouth.
