Robert Weil 2019 Kiedrich Gräfenberg Trockenbeeren Auslese Riesling (Rheingau)

Cellar Selection

Dustings of stone, salt and saffron lend freshness to powerfully ripe, concentrated flavors of mango, pineapple preserve and marmalade here. It's lusciously and honeyed, filling the palate with pools of rich, sweet yellow fruit juxtaposed by a nervous, spine tinging frame of acidity. While irresistible young as an accompaniment to fois gras or cheese, it should gain more earthen, mineral complexities as it improves for decades to come. Anna Lee C. Iijima
