Blue flower, red berries, spice and leather aromas open this Chianti Classico made from Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo. The juicy fruity palate delivers ripe wild cherry, raspberry, white pepper and nutmeg supported by a tannic backbone. This should develop more complexity over the next few years. Drink through 2019.
