Blue flower, blackberry, toast and balsamic notes lead the nose on this blend of 90% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo and Colorino. The palate is still tightly tannic but delivers a core of savory black cherry accented with notes of black pepper, licorice and espresso. It has a brooding character and is shy on bright acidity so best to enjoy this soon.
