New leather, tobacco and underbrush aromas emerge along with a balsamic whiff of camphor. Firmly structured, the youthfully austere palate evokes tart cherry, red raspberry, star anise and chopped herb framed in taut, fine-grained tannins. It's balanced, with bright acidity. Give it time to fully develop. Drink 2023–2033.
