Rock Point 2016 Pinot Gris (Oregon)

This is a chunky wine with fruit leaning to the green (but still ripe) side of flavors. Apple, lime and grapefruit are in play, with a touch of bitter skin flavors also. It's balanced and persistent, with the structure to accompany poultry seasoned with fresh herbs. Paul Gregutt
