A blend of 40% Carmenere, 30% Petit Verdot and 30% Cabernet Franc. The Cab Franc is most present here, its herbal and bell pepper notes strong. The wine is otherwise tannic and dusty, its juiciness slow to arrive, all in all a nice, austere wine.
