Rosemount 2000 Hill of Gold Chardonnay (Mudgee)

Lemony and zingy are buzzwords for this bouquet—expect the same citrusy tang on the palate as well. Mouthfeel, given the high acidity and citrusy notes, is best described as clean. Finish is medium-length, with apple and oak flavors, and acid that gives the back end another dash of unwelcome tartness.
