Rosenblum 2001 Rodney's Vineyard Viognier (Santa Barbara County)

A strong, eccentric wine that will not be to everyone's liking. For starters, it's very smoky and oaky, and also very leesy, which lends sour cream notes to the underlying apricot, peach and citrus flavors. A creamy texture from barrel fermentation leads to a spicy finish.
