Rosenblum 2004 Richard Sauret Vineyards Zinfandel (Paso Robles)

Editors' Choice

Somehow, Kent Rosenblum has figured out how to craft these big, high-alcohol, hot-country Zins and keep them balanced and dry. This single-vineyard Zin bursts with chocolate-filled raspberry and cherry candy flavors, and the alcoholic heat actually works with the wine, lending it a toasted pepper note. What a California experience.
