Roux Père et Fils 2017 Corton-Charlemagne

Toasted hazelnut and earthy smoke on the nose of this wine have highlights of lemon and chalk. The concentration of the palate is immediately apparent, with ripe Mirabelle-plum juiciness that plunges into chalky depth and coolness. Harmonious balance makes the connection between depth and surface, ending in a note of melted butter. Drink by 2033. Anne Krebiehl MW
