There's a serious herbal edge to this wine, with notes of bergamot tea leaves and menthol shining through the black raspberry and plum core. But it's all balanced and delicious, with the rich fruit never failing to support it all, especially as the peppery spice comes into play in the mouth and the cocoa-like tannins linger on the finish.
