Rusack 2004 Pinot Noir (Santa Maria Valley)

This was a tough vintage, with multiple days above 100¢ª during harvest, but winemaker John Falcone pulled it off. The wine is graceful despite a background of raisins, which add a spicy piquancy to the cherry and crushed spice flavors. Drink now.
