Rusack's basic Pinot, with a county-wide appellation, is a bargain, even though it's not cheap. It shows real class and finesse, with an elegant mouthfeel and brisk acidity highlighting cherry, cranberry, licorice and sandalwood flavors. Drink over the next 2–3 years.
