Rusack 2012 Reserve Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Violets and rose petals lead the nose, followed by ripe blackberries and, with a bit of patience, some warm pie crust. The flavors are pleasant but hard to pin down, with flashes of licorice, red currant, allspice and orange peel. Matt Kettmann
