Rutherford Ranch 2005 Franklin Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Rutherford)

Way too oaky. Like drinking toothpicks, with its charred, wood flavors and oak tannins. The wine is dry and the underlying blackberry and cherry sour candy fruit is just fine, but the oak dominance makes you wonder if the wine will ever age.
