In an attempt to ramp things up, Rutini has a wine that's loaded with candied black fruit, tire rubber and a distinct green streak. The palate is all blueberry and sweetness, but it's short, green and terribly basic. And the feel and finish are narrow and scratchy, respectively. Not one of Rutini's better efforts.
