Saffron Fields Vineyard 2017 Wädenswil Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton)

Sweet spice, toasty oak and pretty tobacco scents introduce a rather lush palate, anchored in ripe blackberry fruit. There's a vein of creamy vanilla that smooths out the mouthfeel and cuts down the impression of acidity. Drinking well now, this should continue for another half decade. Paul Gregutt
