A Super Tuscan-style blend, it's 43% Sangiovese; 42% Cabernet, with Syrah making up the rest. Tightly wound, compact and sturdy, it offers bright berry fruit and a dusting of dried Italian herbs. The barrel aging brings in streaks of lead pencil and a hint of toast.
