Saint Clair 2006 Pinot Noir (Marlborough)

This is a big-boned Pinot, with a crisp, almost citrusy framework to the bold cherry flavors. Hints of cola and dried flowers add complexity, while the finish is tangy and mouthcoating. Give it another few months to settle down, then drink now–2012. Joe Czerwinski
