Wood smoke and clove aromas are the main features in this wine's barrel-driven nose. Combine a high-elevation vineyard like San Pablo with 2014's cold conditions, and the result is a massive Malbec with hard edges. Its dark fruit flavors are muscular and downright abrasive on the finish. Drink or hold indefinitely.
