Salwey 2016 RS Pinot Noir (Baden)

Savory notes of dried thyme and bramble mingle into ripe blackberry on the nose here. The palate is full bodied and voluptuous, marked by ripe but muted black cherry flavors and rambling mineral tones. Finishes on soft, persistent tannins. A lusciously composed Pinot that's likely to show best now–2027. Anna Lee C. Iijima
