San Nicolas 2010 Victoria Reserve Carmenère (Curicó Valley)

Gritty, tarry aromas of black fruits carry a certain sharpness. The mouthfeel is clampy and narrow, with raw acidity. Flavorwise, this is acid-driven, thus expect racy red-fruit notes with a stalky, burnt offset. The finish is peppery and lean. Michael Schachner
