San Simeon 2002 Merlot (Paso Robles)

Drinks very soft, almost collapsed, in the mouth, but the flavors are pretty enough, suggesting a red cherry tart drizzled with vanilla and sprinkled with cocoa. The wine is fully dry, with dusty tannins on the finish.
