San Telmo 2000 Chardonnay (Mendoza)

Very light in color, much like hay. A mute nose follows, barely offering something akin to applesauce. It's sugary on the palate, with a buttery finish. Potent acidity prevents it from being ponderous, yet it's still a heavyweight. Michael Schachner
