Sanford 2012 La Rinconada Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Loamy soils, clove, salted cranberry, iron, bay leaf and cherry juice show on the nose of this bottling from the historic label that started the appellation. Thyme, rosemary and sagebrush season cherry fruit, altogether quite mouthwatering. Matt Kettmann
