Begins with a maple-like sweetness, but soon that fades and is replaced by olive, earthy berry fruit, smoky wood and balsamic notes. Rugged but balanced tannins give it structure and spine, while the black cherry and cassis flavors are pure and end with mild herbal and chocolate notes. Well-made Chilean Cabernet.
