Santa Alicia 2006 Reserve Chardonnay (Maipo Valley)

Peach, apricot, apple and butterscotch aromas lead toward an acidic palate that shows apple, melon, pineapple and other citrus fruit flavors. The wine has kick and acid-propelled drive but little elegance as it exhibits almost nothing in common with the Chardonnay of Burgundy or California. Michael Schachner
