Santa Alicia 2010 Anke Blend 2 Carménère-Petit Verdot-Shiraz Red (Maipo Valley)

Reedy berry aromas mixed with herbal notes set up a chunky, voluminous palate. Spicy flavors of olive, green herbs, tobacco and oak run alongside berry and plum fruit. On the finish, a resiny oak flavor and herbal notes meld then fade away. This is 55% Carmenère, 30% Petit Verdot and 15% Syrah. Michael Schachner
