Cassis, red plum and carob characterize the full nose, while the palate runs a little milky and soft. But it's also endowed with saturated berry flavors that improve as it opens. Typical of the variety, there's some herbal, green character on the finish. But with good size, structure and drive, the wine represents Chilean Carmenère in a positive light.
