A full-fruit nose with grapy aromas of boysenberry and not much oak character gets this low-alcohol (12.5%) Cabernet off to an unconventional start. Jamminess is maintained on the palate, which feels plump but shy on tannic structure. Easygoing berry-compote flavors settle on blueberry on a soft finish. Only 450 cases were made. Drink through 2020.
