Santa Ema 1999 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Maipo Valley)

The oak influence is obvious, meaning there are distinct aromas of sawdust and _mocha on the nose. The palate is lively, with a decent amount of cherry and raspberry fruit. Some additional oak-based coffee and _mocha comes up on the finish. All in all it's fresh and easy enough to drink. Michael Schachner
