Santa Ema 2000 Reserve Carmenère (Rapel Valley)

Sweet Tart candy and blackberry aromas, and sweet mixed-berry flavors make this a good choice for wine enthusiasts who favor fruit above all else. Herb and anise flavors (and woody tannins) keep the berry flavors from being too mushy; more acid would have bought this Carmenère another point or two.
