Santa Ema 2004 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Maipo Valley)

Respectably deep, but strong wintergreen, olive and leather aromas cloud the fruit quotient. A nice feel to the palate but the fruit is not what you'd call pure; funky rhubarb and black olive accents are just too prominent. Michael Schachner
