Santa Julia 2002 Viognier (Mendoza)

Although this wine has little in common with French or Californian Viognier, it's fairly solid yet bland. Toasty, nutty aromas mingle with pear and melon, while in the mouth it tastes of apples and lemon rind. Some pineapple, vanilla and banana are the lasting flavors. Michael Schachner
