Santa Rita 2002 120 Cabernet Sauvignon (Rapel Valley)

A decent mouthfeel and grippy tannins secures the palate, which doesn't really have the flavor profile of a fine wine. A sip reveals pickle, bell pepper, and rhubarb along with chocolate and some weedy, sugar beet notes. The texture isn't weak, but it's undeniably thin. Michael Schachner
