In just its second vintage, this high-end Carmenère is worthy of praise. The bouquet is well-built on aromas of mint, chocolate and herb-infused black fruit, and the palate feel is woven from fine tannins, generous extraction and good acids. Flavors of lush plum, berry, vanilla, spice and coffee make for serious drinking and pondering. Best now through 2010. Only 500 cases made.
