Give Santa Rita a good Cabernet vintage like 2005 and they will make good wines from the top down to the everyday level. The latter category is well represented with this exuberant, balanced wine. The nose is ripe but natural, while the cherry and berry flavors rush over the palate and roll along the finish. Very nice in this price range.
