No shortage of oak is apparent from the get-go. The nose is woody, plump, sweet and soft, while the palate is balanced and creamy, with apple, spice and melony flavors. Definitely a big, buxom wine with plenty of vanilla and resin on the finish. Generous in a purely New World style.
