A mix of the Veneto's favorite reds (Corvina and Rondinella) and Merlot. It has a dense chocolate-cake aroma and some pungent black-fruit notes. Spicy and fairly big, it has plenty of size but not much finesse or style. All in all, it's big and clunky, yet the chewy, mouth-filling plummy fruit makes it worth a try.
