Sartori 2000 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Editors' Choice

There's a slightly nutty-almondy edge to the black cherry and plum aromas, then lovely flaovrs of brandied fruitcake laden with baking spices and dried fruit. Yet at the same time, it's not over-the-top rich, and very drinkable with food. A long, supple, fruit-filled finish seals the deal. Drink now-2015. Joe Czerwinski
