A blend of 44% Sauvignon Blanc, 36% Sémillon, 11% Clairette Blanche and 8% Chenin Blanc, this wine is still drinking young, and would benefit from some more time in the cellar to flesh out. Aromas of white peach, melon rind, pressed buttercup, verbena and almond skin unfold on the nose and continue through to the slightly plush, smooth palate. Medium acidity lends good cut to the mouthfeel, while soft nuances of toast and baking spice grace the close. Try 2018–2022.
