Grower and winemaker Michael Savage has always marched to his own drum, and that holds true here. The aromas don't seem particularly settled or revealing at present, with faint notes of herb. Peach-driven stone fruit flavors follow, with lively acidity propelling it. It's equal parts intellectual interest and delivery, with big-time flavors but the aromas not quite matching up right now.
